(EAch mag is graded according to amount of intrest it aroused, "1" is high. "4" is low. I do not attempt to grade 'em according to quality; I'm not a critic...not this time, anyway...) Falling Petals (1) I like poetry. More please.... B. T. (2) May Tucker's sensayuma never die. Moral to FORWARD MARCH OF CIVILIZATION (pg. two of B. T.) can be found in Mark 13:12... Phantagraph June '45 (2) I like Stapledon and Wells; mostly Wells... Phantagraph Jul-Aug '45 (2) Poem on pg. one and Whitman's stuff enjoyed. PHANTAGRAPH (ooops! Didn't mean to use caps here) Sept. Timebinder II-1 (1) Liked stuff by Russ Whitman and Widner, especially... Tale of the 'Evans IV-1 (2) This is the Atomic Age, I heartily agree! It can mean total destruction of the world, or "Utopia", or almost-total destruction of the world followed by "Utopia". Am inclined to think it'll be the latter of the three possibilities. Inspiration Jan. '46 (3) I'm a detective tale fan too. Hope future issues of Insp. will be lengthier... Horizons Dec '45 (2) Sorry to hear that Widner may not revive Fanfare. Was one of our favorite mags.... S-F Savant Winter 45-6 (3) Miss Thompson is too pessimistic...or maybe I'm too optimistic. Who knows? Light Fall '45 (3) Prefer "personal type" mags to "subscription type" mags in FAPA... Fan-Dango (Winter 46 (2) Hoomerus... Glom Feb '46 (2) Forry's mag is "different", so I liked it.
