"Otilio, what does the chanting mean? That song is so sad. I am scared. Are the soldiers coming? Let's go home, Otilio. What is a leva?"  Maria asked as she hurried to catch up to her brother. Otilio, waver her questions away with his hand as if swatting away a pesky insect.
