The weather will have to be good a long time to make up for its misconduct most of last month. At last the scarcity of fire indoors doesn't matter much, but I have heard of no one who has taken to BVD's yet. In my own little billet again. The work began when I had finished the foregoing paragraph. Tonight five correspondents came boiling in from having been with our troops in Picardy. They were well fed up on the experience up there. It's fairly hot, I guess. They told of having been shelled and bombed a good bit. More of them are coming back. I hear nothing
