She is a most powerful actress, I consider, and, of course, best in her specialty of being everything a woman ought not to be. I am glad you like to pry the lid off the things a theater presents and take the works to pieces. That is a large part of the fun for me. So many people take whatever is given them and say they like it or don't without being able to say why. Oh, honey, we'll have a good time some day. Do you know I haven't seen a show since I left America? Nor even a movie since two months? Oh yes, I did see the "uproar" at C ---- , but that - well it was something else again. I'm starved for an American show.
