Some of our visitors are excellent folks whom it is a real privilege to be with and to know. Latterly, I haven't been bothered with the undesirables. We have some new officers to look after them. The occasional excursions that take me away from my desk are usually important enough that I feel that I'm really doing something worth while at the same time that I'm getting to see something of the most interesting phases of the war.
