She didn't know him very well and asked me to help break the ice, and from that time on, I was convicted. I was tired Saturday too, because we gave the concert Friday night in Rich Hill, which meant almost no sleep that night. We pulled in to Nevady about four in the morning, and had a "whole mess of kids" to teach all morning. At noon I went to lunch with Ruby & her cousin. He had to go to Fort Scott to inspect some trains that were going thru so he hired a taxi and we drove. I was bored to death, and bumped half silly. Played again that
