And I hope the second anniversary will see my wife held firmly in her husbands arms - if the victory has been won. You are continually in my thoughts, dearest. I love you pow'f'ly much. Today I have been up to the front again. I saw Zim a few minutes, and used his glasses to watch our shells bursting on a hillside where I hope they killed a lot of Boches. It was a pretty day, though
