He told me confidentially that he had written to you but had not yet copied it in ink. I'm somewhat tired this A.M. I arose very early and went out with the Student Council to a six o'clock breakfast at the lake. I saw an oriole, all orange and black, and had a good time playing around in the wet grass while someone salted my grape fruit and cooked my steak for me. Nice to be a teacher sometimes. I wish you'd tell me what is the name of the little yellow flower you sent me. It is so pretty. Is it anything like our cowslip? That is
