I've not been very good to you this week, but honey chile, I've been so busy!!  I am never "finished" before ten or eleven o'clock these nights.  Some how or other I seem to be in on this pageant proposition tho' I'm not supposed to.  I did my stunt when we gave the Sammy Backers, but every spare minute is given up to this new affair now.  Sense that, please!  I'll have to take it all back.  I was going to say my knees are a sight!  I've been dancing in high heeled shoes because I never have time to change back and forth, and from hopping with my heel on the other knee, see?  Well, that's what done it, see?  There are all black and blue and green, my knees are.  They hurt, too.
