Eighty-two. May 22, 1918. Chere Madame, - Comment ca va? Bon. Moi aussi. Otherwise there is nothing wrong with me. It's the moonlight, honey - it has gone to my head. The Place Jeanne d'Arc was positively brilliant with it as I passed through a few minutes ago, and it is pouring into my room now through the wide open window almost as luminous as the candle by which I write.
