Eighty-Eight. May 28, 1918. My Dearest,- The hour is too late and i am too tired to write much of a letter today - I mean tonight. You can see how fagged my brain is. I have had too many hours of high concentration at high speed. The Boches made a big push today. The news isn't cheering but they'll have to gain a lot more before we get worried. Two letters from you walked in this evenin. I was not expecting them so early int he week. May 7 and May 9 they are post-marked, and references
