attack on the Iowa boys the other night I fear there are even among them some I know well. So the war comes home. As we put our flowers on the graves of our comrades in arms tomorrow I think we shall remember the Gettysburg address and apply its sentiment with new meaning. We follow eagerly the reports from the field of the second great German offensive. What will the result be? We cannot know but we wait with hope and confidence that the defeat of the Hun is being brought nearer with every foot of his [illegible].
