the Hun has been crushed. I have been too busy even go for a walk, so my brain lacks the relief that the sight and odor of the open country give. Your daisies, apparently as fresh as ever in their vase before your picture, help some. It is four months today since I landed in France. The situation is worse than it was when I came but - consolling thought - think how much worser it would have been if I had not come at all. If I now tell you that I love you - always more and more - I have said all that needs to be said tonight. I should like very much even to look at you and more to kiss you. Forever, Your Hubby Conger Reynolds 2nd Lt AGD [censor seal]
