It is nearly midnight, and I think I'll leave you now for this time. First, though, I must say that I want you more than ever. Your letters sounded as if you needed me, really needed me to comfort you. And there is nothing, Daphne, that I should so much like to do as to go to you and show you how deeply and powerfully and steadfastly I love you. Bushels of kisses, dearest! Devotedly, Con.
