August 5th, '18 Dearest Old Boy I'll not cable now, for a few days. Since three letters have squeezed thru the hands of the "Powers that be", perhaps in a month or two I can have some mo'! It was a long wait tho, lover. Today I have to hold my haid jes' so, because we had the best swim - too long a one, I reckon - and my neck is lame. We found such nice places
