pictures of everything and everything if Uncle Sam would just let me take them. That is one thing that takes a lot of the interest out of seeing many strange scenes - one never can take pictures. In all the letters I have been getting from Adrian I have enjoyed reading abut the Kilpatrick youngsters. I'll be very glad when I can see them. I'd like to believe that the war is going to be over this year. The future looks very promising. Almost anything good might happen now. But it is almost too much to expect that we can win as we shall have to to get peace this year. However, six months ago it looked as if the Germans might win or else the war would drag on for years. Now we know Germany can't win and we are making pretty
