George Stevens was a slave in the South He did not no where he was born He was sold so many times He was 6 foot 2 inches tall and was a giant of a man and all way sold for top price He did not no How old He was but He claimed to be around 45. When slavery ended He Had wonderful mother wit the last time He remembers being sold He was in Tenn & on a plantation their He remain with his Master Stevens for several years as He Had Had many names before Stevens witch He carried untill his death Jane Motley Stevens was born in Tenn -born from a Slave Master daughter
