Russell promised Him He would but to this day 44 years nothing Has shoed up that Ruffus owed any man Matilda lived 5 years after Ruffus passed she left the farm moved to Keokuk where Her daughter purchasd a Home and they're she remain until she died Sept 10 1932 and is buried in the family plot
