Oct 26, 1918 My Perfectly Good Hubs,-- This here is another mile stone in our married career. Ten months is a pow'ful long time to spend as a widder, especially for one who is not permitted to be "in on" the only thing that counts these days -- the big war. I know the time has not dragged for you except, perhaps, in the first few weeks of our separation.
