And another woman whom Mama asked concerning her husband's age, birthplace, etc. replied, "Well, I don't just know about that. You see I don't know my husband very well and I'll have to ask his first wife." Which she did, and came back with all the necessary information, plus! Nearly all the Iowa boys are volunteers, it seems. I don't mean to imply that the drafted boys are not deserving, but it does my heart good to see how the whole state has gone over the top in
