which I am truly grateful Johns letter to him was printed and was "I love you grandfather, sweet as can be a dear delight to both of us. Almost exactly the same words you put in a letter to me when you were about his age I suppose, yours was written like this. I still have it - of course, what mother could destroy such a dear love letter as it is, and the refrain has echoed down through all the years and will still echo through all time and into that wonderful eternity to which we are all drifting, for love like that is next to Divine and cannot die.
