water bills. I'll be so glad when you have to attend to all that for me. -- Hold on -- do you have to attend to that or do I? Pause -- take plenty of time to think before you answer, but do consider what a fine wife I am and how I hate to pay bills. Perhaps I could do something for you to make up for it -- ? Dearest, do cable me that you are coming home at once. Can't you sneak on one of the steamers? Not the St. Louis tho. That would be too much! More cards from Margaret Plocque. You may be sure I've answered, and if I can think of something that would do and would squeeze into an envelope I'll send it to Mme Jenny (horrors!) for Christmas. Bushels and heaps and tons of love n'everything -- Daphne
