Well we are all so very glad that Peace is so neare and our Boys can come Home However some of Dexters boys will never come home that is the sad part about the home coming We had a big bonfire and a great time the night after we herd of the armistics in fact the trains that ran through here in the morning kept up the whistle and we kew something had happened so all day long we had a good time celebrating" We are having quite a time with the flue some 80 cases here no serious ones as get town of Stuart has had a good many deaths from it" Not many old people have it so we may escape having it we have been having lovly weather through Oct & Nov now 4 days into December I am hoping that you may eat turkey with us Christmas but one cant know much about what is what or who is who when in the army
