this morning. Where I left last Friday I promised I'd come for the afternoons this week, and if they needed me mornings they were to let me know in time. About ten minutes before nine they called me and yapped away for a week about needing me mornings, too. I'm not going to go. If they want me they can let me know in time. I have a man coming to look after storm windows anyway this morning so I couldn't leave. When I work all week, I have to work likehell on Sunday getting the house clean and some things baked for the next week. It's too hard work. I'm not going to, so there! Would you? I want to make some doughnuts this morning, if the eggs get here soon enough. You'd better step home for lunch, or don't you like doughnuts? We may possibly have other things. We often do.
