the music for Christmas, so I don't have an idle minute all day. Soon as school is out for me, (which may mean four-thirty as often as three thirty, thanks to a few lunk-heads) I rush madly home to get dinner. Mama is still working in Bayson's Jewelry store so she's not here to help any. I've not yet arrived so sufficiently that I can snatch a few things off the shelves and have a meal out of them. Far be it!! For me the dreary round of cut fingers and burned paws, of chasing elusive recipes thru a cook book, and of washing my hands the minute I get them into anything sticky. I can't say I enjoy patting around in dough & beaten eggs. My mits are not used to them things and I simply wear them to rough edges polishing them off on a towel. One thing tho, kiddo! Your wife can make durn good doughnuts, and unless you really hate them that's one thing I can feed you.
