PM Dec 23, 1918 Darlin' - Just a word or two, cause I'm so busy getting things off for Christmas. I'm so tickled to hear of your promotion, honey. Tha's fine. Let them keep coming. Funny you were so long finding out, isn't it? We heard definitely that Mother & Father Reynolds will be here, and we rather expect them tonight. They had decided not to come, and we were so disappointed, but at the last minute they changed their mind. (Perfectly correct, M'dear. They are supposed to be one. From now on, it's mind with us, and I do the control and you do the mind, see?) Thank the Lord there is sugar! I've made some Christmas candy for Martha, and I
