[handwritten] SUBJ- MISC- STUDENT PROTESTS 1965.67 12/11/67 Memo to Mr. Larsen We, the undersigned, did observe on December 5, 1967, at approximately 11:40 a.m. the following: A group of people entered the main library building and paused briefly in the exhibition lobby. They then proceeded to walk stamping their feet and shouting " Stop Dow now", through the first floor of the building. The path they followed was through the second set of glass doors, then right, down the short corridor which houses the college catalog and telephone directory collections, passing on to the west side of first floor. They re-emerged in the outer lobby at the front of the building some minutes later and left through the exit. At the time we observed the above, we were standing behind the Reference/Information desk on the first floor of the main library. We were unable to identify any of the demonstrators.
