44 The city of Iowa City was awarded the following injunction by a District Court. It barred student disturbances of all types and other specific acts. 1. Purposefully disrupting, obstructing or interfering with any function, activity or event duly authorized by the State University of Iowa, including specifically but not limited to: (a) any conference, hearings or other disciplinary proceedings conducted by any office, committee or hearing officer duly authorized or appointed by the University, and (b) and function activity or event comprising a part of the Governor's Day program at the University on May 9, 1970. 2. Purposefully obstructing he free and lawful access and exit of any person to or from any building, structure, room or facility in Iowa City, Iowa. 3. Purposefully obstructing, hindering or impeding the free, normal and convenient use by others of any street, highway, institutional road, sidewalk, doorway, corridor, passageway, stairway, elevator, parking ramp, or other building in Iowa City, Iowa. 4. Entering, occupying, and taking over the posission of any corridor, hallway, room, office, class, store, Post Office, Armory or other building, structure or facility owned by the State of Iowa, the City of Iowa City, the United States Government or a private person, without permission or proper authority. 5. Using force or violence or the threat of force or violence for the purpose of coercing any other person in Iowa City, Iowa, to do any act or refrain from doing any act against his will. 6. Damaging, defacing or destroying any public or private property in Iowa City or attempting to do so. 7. Threatening, harassing or interfering with the lawful rights of any person in Iowa City, Iowa, or intentionally trespassing on or purposefully obstructing, hindering or impeding access to or exit from the premises where any such person maintains his personal home. 8. Intentionally disrupting the orderly processes of the United States Government, the State University of Iowa, the City of Iowa City, the State of Iowa or intentionally obstructing or denying access to facilities of said agencies by those entitled to use them or intentionally interfering with the lawful rights of other persons in said facilities. 9. Inciting or attempting to incite oters to do any of the acts enjoined or restrained in any of the foregoing paragraphs number one through eight inclusive.
