Saving...
I can't help missing my music and I never touch the piano. I can't, possibly. I wish Helen was in the hot place - but she haint. Poor little old Maude. If I didn't love her, I'd can her daughter immedjut. Outside of school hours I am writing & teaching a young operetta to the school kids, to be given soon. Excuse the mix up in that sentence. I do know better. Come home and read to me and talk to me and love me! Tell me that there are other things in life besides furnaces and carpet-sweepers and poor trolley service! I'm a grand success as a failure tonight. I hope you get a chance to look around a bit and enjoy Paris before you come home, but do come. And be sure to let me know something about the time because I do want to meet you. Always loving you, Daphne P.S. Damn poor letter.
