Page Two -- S - F Collector -- [[underline]]Et Cetera[[end underline]] Very probably, many of you who receive this will be startled, or maybe just a little surprised. Frankly, I had just about given up hope myself. I knew then, and I know now, that I couldn't possibly issue the COLLECTOR at its former high standard...it just can't be done At least, not while I continue going to college. So, I decided to abandon publishing the COLLECTOR 'till I'd have the time to go about doing the job right....I've changed my mind since then. I've decided to continue the publishing of the COLLECTOR with no rhyme or reason behind it all. I'm not going to have a regular publication date; and, no regular editorial policy.....Perhaps some of the forthcoming issues will appear within two weeks of each other (you'll know then that I have a holiday session), or, more likely, issues will be from one month to two or three months apart. I'm not in a position to promise a regular publication date. Material for future issues will consist of: reviews of fan mags; reviews of pro mags with comments and opinions of the various ones; and many articles or poetry of merit that I can get. One thing, fellows: it's impossible for me to carry on my correspondence with all of you. So, if you send me a letter and don't get an answer for weeks, or months, you'll know that it's impossible for to answer. Naturally, I'd still like to receive material....Anything will be welcomed (maybe!)..;.That is, almost anything. I'll have at least twenty pages each issue. That's the minimum requirement. Of course, when time allows, I'll have more pages. (cont. on P. 17)
