has been a cool day Em Eat dinner with us to day Mother is at Ogles to night Meriah is sick Bill Will & I was at Als this Eve Gil Shaffer gave Em & I a test battar Fri Aug 28 has been a nice day frost last night & last sunday night but light it dident hurt any thing Em went home to day I went down to Linies this afternoon baby isent well Jim is home this Eve sat Aug 29 we had a hard shower of rain this morning turned of nice & warm father Mother Wallace & I went to bobs I eat dinner at bobs then I went down to Elkader to Mary Ann Cassuth & stayed all night had a good time rode down with John Fox Mary Ann & I went out riding this Eve & we had a fast ride to sun Aug 30 rather a cool day bob & Wallace came down to Elkader after me this afternoon
