Tues sept 22 A very warm day I washed to day rped up my flannel dress father & mother & Will was at Wadena Kimpstans had a barn raising this afternoon Mr & Mrs Bill Quigley was here this eve brought a carpet to be wove Wednesday sept 23 has been another hot day hot & dry no rain pasture is drying up I ironed patched Mother went to see Mary Coventry to day she is failing fast I am sleepy good night Al was here Th sept 24 A very warm day quite windy I made some apple butter & put some to dry Uncle Jack brought us a lot of apples to day father is helping Ogle thrash Bill is with Albert Ghoring hulling clover Al was here all afternoon (illegible along margin) Fri sept 25 A nice day but no rain yet Bill came home to night Jim was
