Kimpstons had a dance to night Bill Jim & Wallace went Th Oct 15 has been a nice day real cold this morning Father Mother Bill Wallace & I all went to Freds to day to help thrash the Galane boys thrashed with there steam Engin it was quite a sight & to see the Engin draw the separator along the road & up hill & down on my way home I stoped & helped Linie put down her carpet Bill stoped & helped Bill G get sills for his grainery Mother & I husked ground cherrys this eve Fri Oct 16 has been windy but not very cold father went to the saw mill & got lumber for the loam house we made ground cherry preserves I got a letter from Lentha I made some green tomato pickles to day Stella Patterson Minnie Baldwin
