work to day Wallace finished planting corn this eve I am very tired sun June 1 A lovely day there was decoration excersises at the church this afternoon which was very nice & a large crowd mon June 2 we had a heavy rain this fornoon Wallace & I went to Elgin I got a new hubberd a new pare of slippers Tues June 3 a nice day I worked to day finished my hubberd wed June 4 A very warm day I ironed did a lot of the work we had 2 carpenters come this morning Mrs Ashelman & children was here this afternoon th June 5 A nice day Grand Ma Oniel was here this afternoon we was going to have a soshial in the new barn to night but it rained hard most all the (illegible) at the sight Fri June 6 A nice day & evening we had our soshial this eve & a very large crowd got $27.10 had a good time stayed until almost 2 oclock
