Robert Jimmie the roads was very bad wed sept 24 A gloomy day Will Lena & I went after walnuts & butter nuts I picked some hops this eve at Mr Fritz th sept 25 a gloomy day no sunshine all day we came home I picked more hops this morning Mother & Effie was at a wool picking at Kattie Robbins to day Fri sept 26 A real nice day cleared of sun shine nice & warm I went over to Lizes & got some hislops sat sept 27 a nother gloomy day had a heavy rain this morning I made apple butter & jelly to day sun sept 28 a beautiful bright day Wallace Effie & I went to sunday school I called in see Grandma Oniel they went for a ride down by Highland
