sun Dec 21 A gloomy day mostly wet & shushly under foot Mon Dec 22 A nother gloomy day the sun sprinkled out a little at one time I worked on my quilt today Tues Dec 23 A cold now windy day Father Effie & I went to Elgin to get Christmas preasants Pete & Lina Ashliman went with us we had dinner at Mrs Hoffers Will & Lena are living there this winter wed Dec 24 A very cold windy day the snow blew a gale we went to the Christmas tree had a very nice program
