wed Jan 23 a very cold day roads so very icy I finished Linies stockens Wallace & Lena went to Wadena this afternoon to make out the papers for the Ashliman farm very cold to night th Jan 24 not so cold to day a little mist fell but is cold to night wind high have been busy all day Fri Jan 25 a very cold day Wallace was 30 years old to day sat Jan 26 a very cold day but no wind dident seem so cold my back is so very lame this is a lovely bright moon light evening
