Fri Aug 30 A very warm day Russie & I went to the grave yard this afternoon called at Mrs Ogles to see Clara Foster Father Mother Lena & Russell all went to Kimpstans & got a lot of blackberries there is a peddler at Wallace to night my room is so warm to night sat Aug 31 A fearful warm day I made 3 black berry pies a cake baked bread made jellie & jam nearly roasted Wallace got a hand to day sun sept 1 A fine day nice & cool this eve Clara Foster & children called to day we all had dinner with
