mon sept 23 not so cold to day we washed Wallace cut the sweet corn fodder this fornoon Will helped Flanagan thresh they went to Elgin after coal this afternoon Frank & Will Kohler are here to night they are finishing some work for Herve Robbins came here to night Tues sept 24 A very cold windy day Lina & Annie Roberts & little girl was here to day her name used to be Annie Johnson wed sept 25 A fine day after the frost it killed the tomato vines the flowers every thing looks pretty bad this morning had quite a heavy frost last night I am offal tired we have our coal in the cellar & the wood
