Fri Oct 4 A fine day we got our carpet out this eve the boys finished shocking corn this afternoon Mother & I made a cubord in the cellar icy sat Oct 5 A fine day I have been very busy all day with the house work made a few button holes Mother Lena & Wallace went to Elgin this afternoon got some wall paper for the hall am tired & sleepy sun Oct 6 A fine day wind pretty high I dident go to church to day Russell went with Mother & Wallace Lena came down here with father & I had the headache mon Oct 7 A cold windy day we washed Old Andrew Larson was buried to day
