wed Oct 30 A nasty rainy day I washed dident get the clothes dry we baked bread the men cleaned the buck wheat I suppose Mother & Lina are in Forest City to night started from West Union this morning Ester Moore & Robert Frey was married to day a gloomy day for a weding Wallace got a letter to day from McNeffs stating Mrs McNeff would be here Saturday th Oct 31 A gloomy day not much sunshine Father Russell & I went over to Lizes to day she is sick with neuralgia I called at Linies a minute Fri Nov 1 A rainy day I cleaned most all the windows Wallace & will D made us a stoop I swept all over patched until 9 oclock this eve
