sun Dec 8 A gloomy day we had 5 pigens & a rooster for dinner Wallace Lena & William was here for dinner Russell & I went with Wallace to ss & church the paint men put their bailer in to day Mon Dec 9 A rainy gloomy day I knit all day only when I got the meals & did up the work got one sock dun wind is high this eve going to freeze up I guess Tues Dec 10 A gloomy morning spit snow a little cleared of nice this afternoon I washed we had one of the paint men for supper Mr Wolf am tired & sleepy
