wed Dec 11 A fine day I ironed Mother went to a tea party this afternoon at Will rittenboughs found a little baby girl Father had a visiter an old Virginian a Mr Pots an old batch th Dec 12 A fine day Mother Russell & I went down to the paint mine this afternoon Bob P & Chet Peek came while we was there then we came back & called at H Robbins this fornoon we put paper on the front doors up home for the winter Father sold John Erixon a fat hog to day Fri Dec 13 not very nice day chilly & gloomy had a peddler to day Frank Risk he gave Russell a knife with 2 blades in it.
