"Poems to me are little mechanical devices to start mind images ringing out, as when a little boy tosses a stone into the creek," writes MARGARET STAVELY. "Music is like this. And pictures, too; even the abstract ones." She was born in 1918; married and divorced, and has two young sons; and has lived all her life in Maryland. "The Brothers," and this sketch redrawn from a drawing by the man she is going to marry, both appear in her book, DOORS TO A NARROW HOUSE, published in May by The Hobson Book Press, New York City. Margaret's address is Hanson Hall Farms, Lynch, Maryland. ..HVW
