YOU - THE READER From our readers there is coming in a constant stream of letters praising the first issue of SCIENCE ADVENTURE STORIES. As a matter of fact, this praise has far surpassed any of our expectations. Here is what a few of them have to say: Robert D. Swisher:- "You first issue was the best fan-fiction magazine in stories, art and format since Crawford's Marvel Tales, and the stories were better than his on an average. But I'll pay you for 'em one at a time, and I'll be surprised indeed when I see your sixth issue. (Meaning no offense, of course!)" Thanx for them kind words, Bob. We are glad that you liked S.A.S. so much, and hope you like this issue, and all that follow just as well. (We'll be surprised ourselves when the sixth issue comes around. We'll work hard to get that far, though.) Let's hear from you again. (Ye Ed.) * * * Mark S. Reinsberg: "The first issue of S.A.S. sure was worth waiting for. The stories were surprisingly good for an amateur (?) publication -- the best one being "The Scroll Of Valoki." "The illustrations: the cover -- not enough contrast. Title strip
