SPARX [page number]: 5 NOTICE I'd like to trade with any and all fanzines, new and old, on an all for all basis. Just drop me a card, and the deal's on. Or just send yours along. I'll put you on my mailing list. If you're planning a new 'zine, remember--- I'll never forgive you if you neglect to send me a copy. SUBSCRIBE TO SPARX TODAY SUBSCRIBE TO SPARX TODAY SUBSCRIBE TO SPARX T YEP, IT'S ME AGAIN SPARX is edited and sometimes published by Henry M. Spelman III, of 75 Sparks Street, Cambridge 38, Mass. This issue stencilled by the editor, and kindly run off on the LASFS monster by Don Bratton. The fantasy quiz in this ish appears through the courtesy of the Manuscript Bureau, and its manager, Walter A. Coslet. Any one who feels an urge to write anything, prose or poetry, fiction or non-fiction, serious or delerious [sic], in fact, anything can feel free to send it to me. I can use it. If I have no room for your material, I'll turn it over to the Mss. Bureau, unless you instruct me to the contrary. I'd appreciate it if material is typed on a 70 space line, with /'s to fill out the lines. Makes dummying easier and faster. You don't have to, but it'll make for bigger, more frequent ishes of SPARX. Next ish will be fatter by far. This is so thin because I have neither time nor material for more, and Don might hate me if I sent him too much to run off. There will be a summary and commentary on the Philcon in the next ish, IF I can remember afterwards what happened on those hectic days. THANX DON THANX DON THANX DON THANX DON THANX DON THANX DON THANX DON WANTED As I've said above, SPARX number one is out of print. AND I need at least one copy to send to one of my authors. SO if you have a copy you neither need nor want, I'd like to make a deal with you. Will make a flat offer of $.10 for each of the first ten copies that come in. If that ain't enough, you Yngvi, you, let me know what you want, and I"ll try to come to terms with you. THAT'S ALL FOLKS
