Dear Earl. Was so glad to get your card and know you were back in England. Perhaps that is as safe as the U.S.A! It is marvelous that you are having such a wonderful opportunity - am enjoying your letters immensely. Had a letter from Reeves this morning. Hope this job is the right one. I think Chicago is a credit to Reno! Had a letter and card from Ruth this week. All are fine. Have been out to June's for over a week. Bob brought me home this morning. Daryl is in Yuma ready now to start on gunnery from a plane. I hate to think of that for him but glad that he likes it. The heat at Yuma was terrific 125 the day he got there. But he doesn't mind it any more. Dorothy is worrying about her extra tire but liking her job very much. Jack is on his way from Florida via Panama to the West Coast we think. Rob went to camp this summer and it did him a lot of good. Rocky is like May was at 2 and cute as a bugs ear. Calls me "Burn." We don't know how he arrived at that. I am fine Reeves told me not to fall down stairs again "just to keep up my batting average." Will be glad to have you back I think Mr. Dewey needs your able help! Lots of Love, Mother
