on two separate occasions and found it as it always was, and as you must have found it. The last time was there Oct 26 - Nov 3, I ran into Leonard Pfeiffer - Ruth will remember him. We had a nice visit. He is in the Army (Major) and doing some work in connection with AMS. His son is in France also but Leonard hasn't located him yet. I just returned this week from a trip to Le Havre and Antwerp and was glad to get back - even to England - Suppose you have recovered from the election by this time. Am sorry that we have to go through another period of this false prosperity and these hit and miss policies, but there seems to be no way out. I have just finished reading the article in the Oct 7th post, written by Robt Moses and it expresses everything I feel. Glad to see you Iowans kept in line again. I think the soldier rate all over was about 50-50. Helen & Patsy seem to be getting
