present season, to have rain all day and five days out of every Seven. We have fairly comfortable quarters so it is not too bad. If we could get rid of the black out and the fly bombs, things would be even better however. No matter what the papers say or print, the bombs are still a menace. They wont win the war for Germany but they will cause a terrible amount of damage and grief. Don't think this mess over here will be cleaned up before next March - but no one knows. Is apt to fall apart any time. Drop me a line whenever you have time and let me know how things are with you and the family. - My very best to you and Ruth, Reeves, Nancy & Marjorie and the best of everything to all of you this holiday season.
