17 Oct 44 Somewhere in Belgium Dear Boss: Haven't received an answer to the letter I sent you about a month ago so was wondering if it ever reached you. Have been in Paris several times and always have checked with Hotel Scribe - in hopes you might be there at the same time. However I can't set a meeting date for Paris as I never know far enough in advance when I'll have a flight that way. Have visited Brussels several times. Nice City. Hotel Metropole good place to stay. Do you expect to visit Brussels soon? Mail service sure slow. Takes about 2 weeks for a letter to get around. Don't suppose you would know now where you will be in 2 week's time? - I mean definitely. Will be waiting word from you and hope for good news. As ever - Shusty
